Answers Café? Absolutely. With Answers Café we only partner with trusted Christian organizations and leaders that are recognized for their years of expertise within their fields of ministry. You have our word on it. |

How often is new content
added to Answers Café? Answers Café adds new content (daily, regularly, weekly). With our established content providers, we add their new content as it is created. We are constantly at work to create partnerships with new, trusted providers, adding to the overall pool of content on Answers Café. |

How are resources on Answers
Café categorized? We developed a comprehensive way to classify resources based on topic tags. Every content resource has at least a primary topic tag. Many resources have secondary and tertiary tags. Some have additional tags as well. If you add your own content, you assign tags based on this hierarchy in order to make all content accessible using a consistent standard. |

How does the Answers Café
search engine function? With thousands of content resources within Answers Café, we knew that a robust search feature would be required to help people find the answers they need. We designed our search engine to search for content in two primary ways: browsing by topic tags and searching by word or phrase.

On my Answers Café webpage,
there is a Helpful Links section. What’s this for? The Helpful Links section of the Answers Café webpage is designed to help users make the most of their Answers Café experience. From this section, people can review and access any AC resource they have previously bookmarked. People can also jump back to the last search they initiated on their most recent visit to the AC webpage. People can also view the most recently asked and answered questions that have been posted to (our content provider) HomeWord’s website, and they can provide the Answers Café team with feedback.

How can I use the content on
Answers Café? Any content on Answers Café can be accessed, printed, and forwarded to others by the people you serve. When it comes to further distribution of the content, such as using AC content for your church or business newsletter, it’s best to check with us first due to legal issues and individual agreements with our various content providers. To provide just one example, we have an agreement in place with our content provider, HomeWord, that any of their content can be redistributed in a newsletter, provided that HomeWord is cited as the source of the content. |

What if I find content that I
don’t want to show up on our Answers Café webpage? No problem. Using Answers Café’s administration features you can exclude any content, preventing it from displaying on your Answers Café webpage. You can create batch exclusions by author, topic tag, and you can exclude any specific resource by using its unique ID number.

Can I re-add content that
I’ve previously excluded to display on our Answers Café webpage? Yes! At any time, using Answers Café’s administration feature, “Exclude Resources” you can view all previously excluded content and remove the exclusion, so that the content will be displayed on your Answers Café webpage.

How can I browse content on
Answers Café? Two ways. First, you can use your Answers Café webpage to view any AC resource. Secondly, you can browse resources within the AC administration features by clicking on the Edit Resources link. A listing of all AC resources will appear, and from here you can view the resource by clicking on any resource’s Edit link. |

Can I add resources from my
organization to display on my Answers Café webpage? Yes. Using AC’s administration features, you can add unlimited amounts of your own text, audio or video resources by clicking on the Add Resources link.

Can I edit my organization’s
resources, once I’ve added them to Answers Café? Yes. Using AC’s administration features, you can edit any the resources you’ve added to Answers Café.

Will all of our organizations resources display on our Answers Café webpage? You make this decision. You choose what content you want to show and you can easily change what resources are available to people any time you want, by using the Answers Café administration feature, “Edit Resources”. You can keep content hidden until you are ready to release it. Also, if some of your content is seasonal, you can hide that content for a time and then display it again later. |

Can I edit any Answers Café
Resource? No. You are limited to editing only the resources your organization has created. |

Can I choose to feature
specific content on my Answers Café webpage? Yes! AnswersCafe automatically displays 3 featured content resources. Each time a visitor accesses the AnswersCafe landing page on your website, 3 featured resources are randomly selected and displayed. We have selected some of our content to display as featured content. If you do nothing, then 3 random featured resources will display as the featured content. If you choose to feature your organization’s content, then your featured content will be displayed instead of our featured content. |

Can I prevent some of my
organization’s resources from appearing on my Answers Café webpage,
while still allowing some people to access these resources? Yes. You can hide any resource you’ve added to Answers Café, preventing it from appearing on your Answers Café webpage. It’s a two-step process. First, access the resource you wish to hide by using the Edit Resources link. De-select the “This Resource is Visible” check box, then click the “Save This Form” button at the bottom of the page. Second, add people to access your Answers Café account using the “My People Tab”. Anyone you designate as a user can view the hidden content using the Edit Resources link. |

What are some ways I can make
the most out of posting our organization’s content to our Answers Café webpage? The possibilities are unlimited! From adding sermon audio or video clips to posting volunteer ministry training documents, or from adding small group curriculum to posting committee or annual reports, Answers Café provides you with customized ministry opportunities. |

How can I reach my community
by using Answers Café? Both you as a leader and the people you serve can refer others to use your Answers Café webpage. When a member of the community uses your AC webpage to address a life need, they’ll know that the source of hope and help was your church or business. |
